1948 B-1 230 Motor PCV valve

We are going through our motor now.

Did the 230, flathead 6 use or require a PCV valve. We have a road draft tube, but no PCV valve. We have a threaded bung in the oil filler tube, and a fitting on the manifold, so it looks like it could have been set up for one.

If they were used, did it take a modified carb?

If used, can enyone tell me where to get one, and how it routed about the motor?
