help with new PW harness

I'm having some trouble with the brake light wires on my new harness,'49 PW.

The book tells me a red w/t wires goes from the signal switch (brake light switch)to the brake lights. There is no red w/t wire going to the lights and with the switch made, none of the three wires going to the lights have power.

If anyone has installed a new harness please give me a call. 203 830-9499 cell EST
