center rear housing for m37

I am looking at a dana 70 from a1967 dodge w300 to install in my m37.I am going to the ebrake output.I noticed that it has 6 lug nuts,can i put a 8 lug from a newer setup or keep the 6? Iwas told that a m715 wheel would be the same wheel as the w300.does anyone have any info?
