is how we input programming for the Sigma 7 computer I learned on in college in the late 60's. The Sigma 7 was housed in a very large room that was kept at a very specific temperature. I think a Commodore 64 had more computing power than that beast. A hand held calculator that could do 4 functions (add, subtract, multiply and divide) with a red LED readout cost over $100.00 then. The same calculator can be had today for about $2.00
