The cookies won't have any affect on the color of the links. I would recommend checking with some of the Mozilla crowd as that is a pretty unique browser. There are a couple of Mozilla discussion forums that you can post to. You might also consider reinstalling it to see if that corrects the issue.
Since Mozilla accounts for only about 7-8% of the brower market, and Firefox accounts for only around 10% of that it's hard to find information about it.
