There's no reason that you can't install the master cylinder dry. And you don't have to remove it again to bench prime it. You can "bench prime" it while it's installed on the truck. Leave the brake lines disconnected, fill the master cylinder with fluid, and use the pedal to squeeze fluid out for a few strokes until you get nothing but fluid coming out (i.e., no air). You may need a helper to push the pedal while you look at the fluid flowing out of the master cylinder, since you might not be able to see the fluid if you are in the cab. Or you can climb underneath the truck and use the pushrod or a screw driver to bleed and still see the fluid coming out. Make sure you check the fluid level in the master cylinder every few strokes, so that you don't suck air into the passages and end up right back where you started. After you get the master cylinder bled, hook up your brake lines and bleed those, and then your good to go.
