Maybe your experience can be a learning tool for others. One word of advice. Although a "Home Depot" fire extinguisher is better than nothing, I would highly recommend that you go to a fire extingusher company and tell them you want a auto- type extinguisher. They can even give you a nice chrome one for about $50 bucks that will fit real nice on your door. Look on any commerical business fire extinguisher and it should have a sticker from the company that refills it. Thats the people you want to call. These are refillable and it costs about 15 bucks per year to have it refilled and retested and certified.
