A W300 with 4.88s and 36 inch tires would turn about 50 rpms more than a (modern) Dually with 4.10s and 31 inch tires. I figured this at 60 mph, and a .80 OD 5th gear.

A set of Michelins would do the trick for 5.88s. Doug's has 4.88s, unless he changed them after I sold him the truck.
