The reason that vehicles "crab", that is go down the road sideways, is because the REAR axle is not 90 degrees to the frame. Some people mistakenly think that the front axle controls this, is doesn't, the front can be steered and a slight error in alignment at the front is compensated for by the steering. Unfortunately your vehicle is going to 'crab', how much is uncertain due to frame flex, tire air pressures etc.
