Dave the electronic ignition gives you a little more power, due to a hotter more reliable and consistent spark. If you can adapt the Mopar Performance \6 kit to fit your I-6 you'll see even more performance out of the engine with only that bolt-on kit. However at this time it is unconfirmed whether the distributors are interchangeable. That sounds like a job for Marty!
