First off I would say you have a 1947 WDX, as your serial number is almost at the end of the 45-47 Detroit run.
The ending serial number for the 45-47 run was 83906216 just 121 higher then your 83906095.
The body tag number of 4312-6663 breaks down as follows:
4312 = WDX, B-1, and B-2 PWs
6663 is the sequential number. I do not have enough numbers to verify that this number is correct for your truck, but here are the numbers I have surrounding it.
1946 (I think) 83901424 4312-1550
1948 83907191 4312-7589
As you can see yoru number falls between those two, and I have many 46-47 CA built trucks that have body tag numbers lower then yours by about the right amount.
The engine is from a M37, though I do not know anything about the sequential numbers on M37 motors, so I can't tell you what year it is.
Does your truck have a winch? If so what is the winch number? (located on a pad on the drivers side of the winch, facing up)
Did you check your rim date codes? (found on the face of the rim, in 2 digit format, like 47)
What are the rest of the numbers on the big door tag? (GVW, HP at RPM)
What side are your tags on, drivers door jamb or passengers side?
Does your truck have a pickup bed? Which style?
What color is your truck? Do you know the original color?
I keep a spreadsheet with all this info so I can compare numbers and other info on trucks.
