Won an auction for a set of 4 900x16 Spur grips on eBAY. Tires were located in Kansas - not *too* far from New Mexico.
FedEx (Ground) quoted me a cost of $17 each to ship. I printed the labels and mailed to the individual in Kansas. He called FedEx and had them picked up. The FedEx guy put the labels on the tires.
3 of the 4 tires were lost in transit.
After wrangling with them for 4 weeks, nothing. Then I filed a claim. At the *end* of the claims process they asked for proof of payment. While I was getting the cancelled check, they sent me an email stating that they had all the required papers.
Then 2 weeks later, I get a letter stating that the claim was denied because I had no proof of payment. Aggggh.
So now it starts all over.
Anybody need a brand-new COOP Grip Spur? She is kinda lopsided with one new tire...
