I bought a non-running M37. Someone had mixed up the plug wires but I have gotten that straightened out. I have spark, and fuel to the cylinders. The timing is pretty close. When turning it over (pedal floored) it will fire occasionally and a couple of times it has started chugging along a little. It smells like it is flooding out. I thoutht if it was flooded and I towed it I would be able to clear it out, but it does not even fire when I tow it. The wiring harness is pretty rotten. Even though I have power to the dist. could something be grounding out keeping it from starting? Any advice anyone can offer would be appreciated.
