frame flex

I have one of those power wagons that was used as a woods truck. I unfortunately did not see the repaired frame wher the truck broke in half in front of the rear spring mounts. I am aware that this is a common thing now, and I am wondering if this common thing has a common method for repair. Do I need a new frame from a doner or can I fix the one I have? What about boxing the frame; is this bad on these trucks? (this is for a 1953 b-3pw model) Thank you for your time in advance, Brandon Pineo
