I do not cast parts myself, but we have a local company here that casts only in Aluminum or Brass/Bronze. I have had them make many parts. The parts produced are only as good as the mold, model, or part being directly used to make the sand mold. I have had good luck with this company. I also have been working closely with a machine shop in making a select few Power-Wagon parts. I used to work for these guys, so I am well familiar with their operation, schedule, quality, and even their internal politics.
