FFPW cab flex

Gentlemen, I have a 1953 B-3 that has the classic drivers door popping open on bumps. What is my next step?? I am ready to pull the cab and fill voids and fix brackets but I need to know the measurements it used to be in order to to put it back. What is the best way to do so? Thanks for your time, Brandon
