flat fender flat bed dimensions

I recently bought a '47 flat fender power wagon with a "farmer built" flat bed. The dimensions of the bed are 6-1/2 by 8 feet. I was wondering if Dodge built a factory flat bed and if so, what were the dimensions? Or what size have others built?
