vin location on M-37?

I posted this on the M-37 board and got some advice...so far I have not found the vin number yet. Anyone know where these vin numbers are?

When I sent the vin number on the title to Chrysler, they sent back info saying the truck was build in 1940, had a 6.2 differential gear and was sent to Manchester England. Now we know this is not correct. The vin does start with 8005 which is correct for early series M-37s.

I would like to find the number on the frame however to confirm what I have is correct.

The photo copy of the build sheet from Chrysler did have the same number I provided to them.
