Finally got to see the segment on starting the old Dodge WC truck.
There's a guy/family in Idaho that finds old military vehicles out in the desert, (or is that dessert!!), gets them running where found (!!), drives them home with no brakes etc., and then writes about it it in Army Motors which keeps you riveted to the edge of your seat reading about his adventures !!!
I personally think they put alot of new parts into the truck first not knowing how the engine actually is. Most of us would have cleaned up the points, hooked up a fuel supply to the carb, filled the (leaky) radiator and fired it up. Then we would set about tuning it up.
