Sounds like a neat rig,pull dist. cap off,bar engine over by hand with #1 sparkplug out and finger over #1 hole turning engine clockwise if viewed from front bumper, when compression is starting to build, continue to bar until timing marks on crank pulley or flywheel line up TDC, now check the position of the rotor to which dist cap plug wire its pointing to when the cap's installed-there's the #1, now if you've watched the rotation of the distributor while barring, you'll know which direction to place the remaining plug wires-#5,3,6,2,4.
