Having done just a couple of screens....
my preferred method is to blast the whole thing, which usually leaves the centre of the lower section a bit of a mess. The I just use a MIG welder to MIG up any holes, recut the groove if necessary, then prime and paint. The adavantage here is that the lower centre section is left much stronger, especially if you are going to be opening and closing the screen. Gordon
