I'd make it steel, as it can be soldered and repaired down the line easier. Add a drain plug (shielded) and I always wished someone put a spigot or hose extension off the lowest spot (maybe from an old aircraft fuel tank) so I could drain fuel (and ocassionally empty condensation water) out of the tank for other uses. If you figured this out it might have some utility (beats having to go to the store for lawnmower gas trips or pulling the tank for water drainage) Add the baffels about every ten inches (sectionalized) and at least one across the center side to side. Remember to put a large hole in the baffel at top and bottom so the fuel can flow without vacuum. Having access holes with covering plates in the top also helps in cleaning down the line. Aw heck, add a skid plate while your there. Have fun, WAW
