{{Did Dodge make the PW in two different body styles? Or, is this a hybrid that has been placed on a PW chassis using a different body?}}
The WDX style came out in 1945 as a '46 model. It was based on the army trucks of WW2. There wasn't any development costs so it stayed about the same through it's production run until '68 domesticly. A little later for export. In '57 it was called the W300 with the W100 and 200 models being conventional cab trucks. In '58 the W series got a regular cab 1 ton as a W300 and the WDX style was renamed the W300M. In 1960 the WDX was named the WM300 and kept that name until it ended production.
