1970 Dodge PowerWagon 4x4, 4-door, air force issue, blue paint,
I was driving this vehicle up to about 3 years ago. I drove it
home and as I pulled into the drive the battery went dead. The
wiring harness going to the voltage regulator had come off but
what concerned me was the fact that a wire had gotten hot to the
point of burning the insulation. I just parked the vehicle and
never have used it since. The v-8 engine ran good with no unusual
knocks or anything but it is in need of a valve seal replacement
because it uses oil. I recommend a valve job though it didn't
miss or anything. The drive trane is in good functioning
condition. The front end had a bad vibration due to wear on the
u-joint cap retainers. The u-joint would get mis-aligned and
vibrate pretty bad. All of the doors open and close ok and there
has been extensive panel replacement where there was some rusting
in the floor board and rocker panel area about 5 years ago. No
power steering or brakes. I'll take the best offer. Located 1
hour SE of Kansas City, MO. I'll send photos to anyone serious.
