that dealers (to get there profits up) will do uneccessary work (or do it on paper if you know what I mean) & in the last few years because the manufacturers are trying to catch the "cheaters" tell their customers they found these problems, & then have the work order signed as proof of repairs. They should not do ANY additional work warr. or otherwise without your permission ahead of time.
I know there are dealers on the forum & hope they don`t come "gunnin" for me. I am not saying ALL dealers condone the practice. On the same note there are service managers & parts managers trying to look good & get their bonus`s, & flat rate mechanics trying to add a little to each repair order.
When you read how much people are saying the manufacturer is spending on their vehicle, just imagine how much is added to the cost of the vehicle. Now add on all the costs by" cheaters" & you can understand why they cost so much.It is not right, but seems to be the (north) American way!! End of RANT for now! Best Regards, George
