Several years ago, just a few miles south of me, there was a tire shop owner killed when he was inflating a tire with a lock ring and no cage...
When I had my tires replaced, I had to call several different places before I found one that would work on them. There are only a couple real tire shops around the central Iowa area that will handle them.
