Is this a scam? English Dealer, Cashiers Check

Hi: I have my 63 Power Wagon Ambulance advertised in the Photo Classifieds. I got this email today.
"My name is Veeral Williams, I am an auto dealer based in Houghton Regis England, right now i have a client that is interested in your vehicle and i will like to know your final offering price and present condition, my method of payment is a cashier's cheque drawn in an american bank,please email me at your earliest convenience "
I have heard of scams like this. Should I just ignore this? What can I do? Thanks
