Tim, I have a plank floor. It was rotted out as well and I had a creosoted telephone pole cut up and used 6" planks for the bed. I used this for 27 to 28 years and finally just rhinolined it. I took the box off and sprayed rhynoliner on the bottom as well to seal it all up and prevent and rot through from the bottom.
