Out here in CA part of our registration fees for commercial vehicles (pickups included) are based on vehicle weight. Glenn Reid took his '62 WM300 with stock bed and winch to a certified public scales. Reported weight 5,260 lbs.
I had to do the same, but my '61 is a brush firetruck and weighed in closer to 7,200.
