Hella H4 lights really make a difference.
My 52 ff PW has the original head lights. Both are date stamped Feb 22 1951. A couple of weeks ago I was out in a "Dark and Stormy Night" and could not see much at all. In fact I wondered if the lights were working at all. I usually ran on high beams.
Last night I replaced them with Hella H4 head lights. Man it is nice to be able to see the road. What a difference (I consider them comprable to the light in my 97 Honda Accord). They are the standard Hella H4 head light with a 6 volt H4 light bulb in them. I have much better lights and did not have to convert to 12 volts.
Yes the original headlights are safely packed away. I am not going to let those working originals go.
Thanks Mopar Norm for the tip.
