I used to remember my dad and his friends getting together and talking of the old days. The cars,the races and the I wish I still had that car stories. I vowed to keep my 71 Charger until death do us part. Got it my senior year of high school and have somehow managed to keep it through good and bad times. There were many years it sat in a dark garage not seeing the light of day but 1-2 times a year.
Now I am older and wiser and drive it more and enjoy the car for what it is. Rarely see's much beyond the speed limits and its been many years since I really got stupid with in on the highways.
Heartland Park in Topeka is going to have a Mopar weekend this fall. Show and swap meet. Drag strip and road course open to the cars. I may dust things off and run it in the controlled enviroment that weekend.
