The problem was that ALL of the bolts had pulled All the threads out of the knuckle housing. Although the bolts still appeared to be ok, I elected to replace them. As far as the stripped holes, I got a 3/8 24 thread helicoil kit. Ironically, Napa did not have any, but directed me to the oldest hardware store in town. I went to Lovelady hardware and was directed to "The Bolt Room". I entered this room to find a counter with a old timer behind it. I new I was in the right place. I gave him my sample bolt and he appeared a few seconds later with 6 grade 8 bolts, the proper helicoil kit, the right drill bit 25/64 and I was on my way. With his advice, I put one drop of red locktite on each helicoil before insertion. I had a problem turning the helicoils in by hand because my hands were a little greasy, so I used a tap handle to turn them in with (as shown in the picture).
