It was a 3/4 ton Command Car, WC57 I think but with an altered hood frame to make the inside more visible.

As to the Aston Matin - it didn't get destroyed. The E-types, minis, even the Lamborghini really got trashed, but at the last second the Aston got substituted for a very similar Lancia which is what actualy went over the cliff. If you have it on tape or disc you can see it goes from a right hand drive Aston to a left hand drive Lancia right on the edge....
