Drove my '53 PW for first time in 22 months

today. I ran the new engine for 1/2 hour then drained the oil and changed the filter. It kept cutting out as though it was loosing spark. Most times it would come back alive before dying, but I had to restart several times. It would start right up again. By the end of the half hour it seemed to be doing better. Anyone have any suggestions? It seems to be electrical. It has a new 6V coil, which I connected per the marked polarty (neg. grd.), and a new condenser, points, and dist. cap.
Earlier I had loss of ignition power, tapped the breaker up under the dash, and I think that did it, so there could be a short somewhere. I fiddled with the wiring while the engine was running without any seeming correlation.
Any ideas are welcome! I need to go play!
