Which end do I hook the Positive side of battery to?

I have a 48 PW. I know its a positive ground and have a 6 volt positive ground battery. I have the positive terminal of the battery hooked up the the cable that is bolted to the frame frame of the truck. Is this correct? Help appreciated.
