Pickup trucks of the 70's had a shorter tailshaft. Most were about half the length of a car transmission. Motorhomes and that area also had the shorter tailshafts.
The truck 727's were similair to the "hemi" 727's of the Muscle car era. A few minor differences made then stronger then regular car 727's.
