From time to time I get to see what's left of one that the train has hit. Nothing like frozen entrails under a locomotive. Some of the train crews will try to slow down if they can so as to let one clear the track, but I've heard tell of how occasionally a moose will get tired of being followed and will get pissed off and turn towards the train and charge the lead locomotive. Always a no win situation for the moose.
CJ, I hear that the developer got things worked out with the fire inspector and is going ahead with building the Ice Hotel at Chena Hot Springs. I might just have to find sometime maybe between Fur Rondy and my AT for the Guard and come up there to check it out.
