I just wondered why they would use a differential type axle if they weren't going drive it. I thought it would be cheaper to get some trailer axle and stick a rover hub on the end. Then again, maybe Rover has warehouses filled with extra axles available for a few shillings (pence, euros or whatever you use) ea.? No, I don't see a shaft, and couldn't tell if a carrier was there or not. Reminds me of our farm trailer that grinds each time we drag the empty diff house over a rock. Someday I'll take the carrier off to save a hundred pounds or so. BTW, ice permitting? Don't tell me you paint outdoors, I thought you were very well equipped out there in the Scottish moors.
