I have spent the past hour "Building my own Dodge Truck" on the Dodge web site. Without the dealer book, its a total waste of time not knowing all the options and what they will put them on. Dodge will relieve me of $40K and not let me have decent seats, just the old front bench seat.
I looked at the Ford Site. Wasted my time there, got a F350 Diesel 6 speed half built,
with nice bucket seats. Then I clicked on Mud and snow tires.....Ooops ( change in configuration required) Mud and Snow tires cant be ordered on 4x4, you will have to change to a 4x2. Click OK NO GIVE UP
Guess Mud and Snows on a 4x4 will void the warantee.
And to get centain options on any brand, you have to take a entire option package with many unwanted options.
I remember when you went to a dealer, picked a model, and then went down a LONG list of all available options, pick and choose no specific model dependent.
No more rant, I can sleep now.
