After about 15 months, I have finished my 58 Power giant project. It has been quite a chore, but a lot of fun and a good learning experience. I could not have tackled this as as my first restoration project without the help of my good friend David. He can repair, almost anything. If he can not repair a part, he will scrounge up something that will fit perfectly, or will build a new part from scratch. We have had a lot of fun on this project, and really enjoyed our first ride around town. It really got some attention. David has done some other restorations in the past, including a "B model" Mack truck, and this project has convinced him to do automotive restoration work full time. He already has a 50's, Jeep "suburban" lined up next. I hope he can squeeze in my 59, W300M PowerWagon before too long.
I can not post photos here, but I have posted photos on Gordon's forum if anyone wants to look at them. They are under the "Power Giant-Town Wagon" catagory.
