Take the tractor inside silly!

The house is nice and warm and it will thaw the ice. Then get the engine running, and change the oil, all will be fine!

Of course Wendy may not like the hole you put in the side of the house to fit the tractor in, but Sacrifices must be made in the name of a Dodge Shop!

Seriously though, what about one of those Diesel fired heaters? They work pretty well, and I (or maybe I should say Ron) used one to thaw out the pump on the front of the 66 W300 I hauled last winter.

Just setup a tarp or some boards, and blow in the hot air. As I understand it your problem is ice, not rust etc, so it should not be much of a problem to get the engine running once the ice is melted.

3-4 hours of heat, and I bet the engine will turn right over if you keep the heat in well.
