I haven't posted because I have posted ad nauseum about this topic, SILICA SAND = truck damage and DEATH! Sand is OK for heavy gauge and dimisional metal, WHEN used with proper respiratoty equipment. It should never be used on sheet metal, too much damge to the metal, even if it doesn't warp it, it removes too much material from the truck. Polymers and other media such as walnut shells, oxides, and glasses are designed for specific automotive uses. Sand is for rebar and concrete blasting and frames.
