Hi Paul, a friend identified it as belonging to a aux military generator. It came with my Command Car but didn't really fit right. I can ask him about it (ser #, type of generator) if you like...he may even have one. I believe he said that it was a good fit for M37's as well (which is what he's into). I know I've seen a few tanks in his parts tailer...
