I know what you mean, Merrill. I have always liked the short wheelbase 3/4 ton 4x4 pickups. As far I know, Dodge and International were the only ones that made them on special order from the factory. The 73 Int. I used to plow with is sleeping in a barn now, and the 71 Dodge up the road apiece was run until the cab just about fell off the frame,rotted beyond repair.
As for my 69, it will never see road salt again as long as I own it. I'm looking for a buyer for that utility body and am going to put a flatbed dump on it. Meanwhile, I just keep pulling wire out of it. (about 20 yards so far)
