I have recently completed an engine conversion and power steering on my 41 WC. The steering works great, but the truck follows rutts in the road. Its not bad around town, but at 60 mph, its not too much fun.
Everything on the frontend is stock (7.50x16 tires), except for a steering stabilizer, and everything is tight. Should I try a double stabilizer, or adust the caster? If I shim under the axle to adjust the caster, I don't think the u-bolts are long enough, and longer ones would probably need to be custom made.
Has anyone else had this problem and solved it? Did these trucks come stock with not enough negative caster?
