I'm in the process of building my shop and need some input from you guys. I want to install air lines in the walls. My compressor run 24 CFM at 175 PSI,I plan on putting a regulator, water trap, and ball valve before the inlet into the wall. My question is can I run PVC as a main line? The compressor instructions say not to but I know alot of people who have done it with no problems.(so far)I can get PVC pipe with 300PSI burst strength and I would never run more than 125psi through it.I'd run a hose directly from the compressor for high demand stuff.I don't want mild steel because of corrosion. I can go with stainless but was hoping to avoid the extra cost.Hope I'm not opening a can of worms but I'd just like some input.I do know that when PVC bursts it throws pieces like a land mine. Thanks in advance. KEVIN
