Ah, now I see what you were talking about below, Paul, your fire truck hauling Bob's PW fire truck. That would work bigtime. With a 14' flatbed to replace the fire truck body, this W500 would make a fly PW hauler. It might be a little slow going up hills, but it could certainly handle the valuable load. A nice diesel engine and an overdrive, or a bigger V-8 (413 + 5 sp OD anyone?) would make it fly better down the road. :) For some sweet, sweet inspiration, gaze at page 60 in Monty Montgomery's Y2K book "Dodge Power Wagon Photo History" after strapping on your supersized Drool Cup.
