Aaron;
Syntorque is a semi-synthetic GL-4 gear oil. It is pricey but is a bit cheaper at a Chevy dealer as they use the same oil. Have tried Amosoil 75W-90 Series 2000 oil but now use a 50-50 mix of Red Line MTL and MT-90. Unlike most gear oils which are GL-5 hypoid gear oils, the Red Line is made especially for manual tranmissions and is a GL-4 oil. Most GL-5 oils contain aditives which will harm brass parts. The 50-50 mix gives the correct viscosity.
