Bellhousing identification

I consulted the November 2000 Power Wagon Advertiser and found Mike Fleig’s article to be very helpful identifying the different bellhousings used on Power Wagons. The article had great pictures, but no dimensions.

Does anybody have a bellhousing or block handy they can measure?

I’m trying to determine if I can hang a Dodge truck bellhousing on the back of a Chrysler straight-eight. By comparing pictures, it looks promising. I measured the eight with it out of the car and the bellhousing still attached. I made a rough sketch of the approximate dimensions. Can anybody help verify these are the same dimensions as the 230 and subsequent Dodge truck engines?
