Was a 1954, and the engine compartment in those is about the smallest on any of the 54-66 Town Wagon\Panels.
What year TW are you looking at Bob?
I would be will to be there is room, I could measure, as I have a 12V Cummins parked outside, and a 58 Town Panel in the garage.
Radiator, tranny, etc may be another story, but I can check overall length at the very least.
